Slow Cooker Teriyaki Chicken Drumsticks

Easy peasy teriyaki chicken drumsticks (or wings if you prefer!) in your slow cooker!

Serves: 4
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¼ cup pineapple juice
  • ¼ cup (50 mL) vegetable oil
  • 10-12 chicken drumsticks or 24 wings (tips removed) if you prefer
  1. In large bowl mix all ingredients except chicken drumsticks.
  2. Add chicken; toss gently to coat & *place in 4- to 6-quart slow cooker.
  3. Cover; cook on high heat setting 4 to 5 hours or until juice of chicken is clear when thickest part is cut to bone.
  4. Place in oven and broil for extra-sticky chicken if desired.
*Note: You can marinade the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours if you would like.
