Hi, my name is Sarah. I’m a Registered Nurse who loves a farmer. Go figure! I was Edmonton born and raised a small town girl. I fell in love with a farm boy when we met in university during my last year of nursing, and his first year of agriculture way back in 2004. He proposed New Year’s Day 2007 and just over 6 months later we were married on 07.07.07 and celebrated 5 wonderful years committed to loving each other and God last summer.

In May of 2009 I found out I was pregnant and on January 28, 2010 I gave birth to our first beautiful baby boy, Braden! And just recently we welcomed our 2nd beautiful baby boy Ethan into the family on October 16, 2012! We have a Siberian Husky and 2 tabby cats…and that’s our little family!

We are Christians and I have had an amazing journey getting to know God. I’m a nurse who works in ER casually and I spend the rest of my time being a stay-at-home-mommy to my little boys. I truly get the best of both worlds! We have loved to travel and enjoy spending time with our ever-growing family. I am very into photography, just at an amateur level but I have learned so much over the last 4 years that I’ve had my nice Canon T3i DSLR camera. I also enjoy cooking and baking and have a passion for cloth diapering and breastfeeding…when applicable!

I am by no means a professional writer, but I’ve always had a passion for it and that’s one of the reasons why I blog! I started this blog in late 2009 because it’s a nice way to share what’s going on in our lives with family and friends, old and new, and I wanted to document the rest of my pregnancy and journey into mommyhood. I joined the public blogging community in the summer of 2010 and have made wonderful, wonderful friends…and I’m always looking for more.
