Dropped off the pupper and the old gal at the kennel today 🥺😢 Immense guilt for doing so, especially for Kihei, BUT last time we went to Disneyland 4 years ago we got calls waiting in line for rides that there were husky sightings in town and we don’t want to go through the stress of worrying about her running away again and teaching bad habits to Barron. They will be well looked after and have some forced bonding sharing a kennel together 😬 and get lots of socialization with the other dogs. Barron didn’t care one bit, he was super excited ☺️

‘Twas a good old fashioned skate-a-thon to raise

‘Twas a good old fashioned skate-a-thon to raise money for boards for the outdoor arena and it was a wonderful turnout for our village. Braden skated 58 laps in a half hour, Ethan skated 57, Jay clocked 67 and Jonathan, though he wasn’t officially counted, clocked about 15 laps total pushing the support. He got a lot of smiles and laughs from people, he absolutely LOVES skating! Now we just have to convince him to skate on his own!

It was “dress the decades” day at school so Braden dressed as a 90s kid wearing a Ninja Turtles shirt (the original Turtles) with a plaid flannel open shirt, jeans and a backwards Blue Jays hat. Team is 1-1-1 for the tournament with 1 last game tomorrow at 8:00 😖 Should be ‘awesome’ after 3+ hours of watersliding after an already busy day. Oh well, we’ll be home by lunch anyway.

Time for a pupdate! Barron is 14 weeks old and this week his right ear is up and his left ear is down 🙃☺️ He’s starting to get some dark fur between and around his eyes, his mama’s German Shepherd showing thru. He’s still a very content and chill pup, he knows how to sit, shake a paw, and he’s learning to “leave it” and stay. He’s growing sooooo fast and he’s a mama suck and loves to curl up in my lap.
As for his broken toe, he’s completely fine!! Makes me shake my head at the money spent 💸 at the vet, but it is what it is and I’m glad he’s okay! #shepsky #shepskypuppy
