Cranberry White Chocolate Cookies with Cream Cheese Glaze

Soft and decadent cranberry white chocolate cookies with cream cheese frosting. A fancy and delicious cookie!

  • ¾ cup butter, room temperature
  • 2 oz (¼ brick) cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2¼ cups flour
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup coarsely chopped dried cranberries
  • 6 oz (¾ brick) cream cheese, room temperature
  • ¼ cup butter, room temperature
  • 1½ cups powdered sugar
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips, melted
  • ½ cup coarsely chopped dried cranberries
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips, melted
  1. In stand mixer cream butter and cream cheese together until smooth; 3-5 minutes.
  2. Beat in brown sugar for 1-2 minutes until fluffy.
  3. Add in eggs, vanilla, baking soda and salt (skip salt if you use salted butter) and beat until evenly mixed.
  4. Stir in flour with mixer on lowest setting.
  5. Stir in white chocolate chips and chopped Craisins and chill dough for at least 2 hours or even overnight.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone sheets.
  7. Drop dough on baking sheet bake for 9-11 minutes, until centres are set and edges and bottoms will be golden.
  8. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
  1. Beat cream cheese and butter together until smooth and velvety.
  2. Beat in powdered sugar and beat until creamy.
  3. Melt white chocolate in microwave safe bowl, heat in 30 second increments, stirring after each set. Mix in melted white chocolate, beating until incorporated.
  4. Spread frosting on top of cookies and top with chopped Craisins and more drizzled melted white chocolate if desired.
