I have made it absolutely no secret that I am an avid online shopper. I live a 2+ hour round trip to our nearest city Calgary, and I rarely get a chance to go shopping by myself. I don’t know about you, but shopping with 3 kids in tow is not my idea of fun, and this is why I turn to online shopping. There are so many stores online now that offer free shipping and have coupon codes every week, it actually saves me money to shop online because I’m not paying for fuel and the deals are almost always better online per my experience.
Another thing I’ve never kept a secret is that I almost always make money while I shop online. I have been a loyal and faithful Ebates.ca user for over 4.5 years, and they’re just about to celebrate their 5th birthday on August 28, 2017! In those years I have received over $700 in cash back, directly into my PayPal account.
How I Get Paid to Shop Online
There is no catch. There are no membership fees, you just have to follow these simple steps:
It’s simple and free: all you need is your email and a password to get your Ebates.ca account. No fees. No points. No forms!
2. Sign into Ebates BEFORE You Shop Online
This is the hardest part, and it’s really not even that hard. You just have to train yourself to sign into your Ebates.ca account before you purchase. I always, always sign in before I shop online to see if the store I am purchasing from is signed up with Ebates. I bet most of the places you already shop from (there are 750+ stores) are on Ebates.ca along with coupon codes available.
3. Get Paid
Ebates.ca pays out quarterly and you can receive your cash back via PayPal like me, a good old fashioned Big Fat Cheque, or you can donate your cash back to a charity or even a family member who you might feel needs it more than you.
My Favourite Ebates.ca Stores for Summer
I always sign into Ebates.ca to check if the store I’m going to purchase from is on there. It never ever hurts to check and you will be surprised how many stores there are. I was surprised to see that Ancestry.ca is a store on Ebates.ca and I recently got 12.5% cash back on my purchase of a DNA kit that I’ve always wanted! They had a $30 off Canada Day sale, plus I am going to receive $14.75 back on that purchase. I’ve been slightly obsessed learning about my family’s history and building our tree, but that’s a story for another day.
Clothing & Goods
Not only do you get cash back on your purchases, you get all the coupon codes in one easy place. I buy almost all the boys clothes online and there are great summer deals going on now—up to 50% off + free shipping at my favourite stores!
- Old Navy
- Carter’s | OshKosh Canada
- Sport Chek
Whether it’s a weekend getaway to the mountains or a week-long escape to a new destination, I always book my travel through Ebates.ca.
Whether it’s a book from Amazon.ca, or you need to stock up on sunscreen from Well.ca, or you want to digitally scrapbook summer memories with a photo book from Shutterfly, you can get cash back on your purchases from some more of my favourite stores.
Even if I you need a one-time purchase: always sign into Ebates.ca! They have a lot of New Stores to check out including Lululemon, Best Buy and minted! I hope you learned something new today: get paid to shop online and even have the chance to Shop With Double Cash Back !
