One of these days I’m hoping to get the motivation to blog again, but I usually go into a lull in the summertime, because who wants to sit at a computer when there’s gorgeous weather to enjoy, gardening to be done, and sports to run around to? Well, not me anyway!
Braden is officially done with playschool! Even though he doesn’t look it, he’s very excited to go to kindergarten!
We finally got some much needed rain today, 6/10″ and it came down fast and hard…not the “ideal” rain, but we were thankful nonetheless. Still praying for more rain.
I headed to Pigeon Lake with my sister-in-law Laura for the annual Ladies Retreat at the Bible camp our church is affiliated with. It was a much needed, and much welcomed retreat.
I hope to write more thoughts about my experience at the retreat…but I can’t make promises about my blogging these days. I will say that I was so thankful for some time to focus on God, go on a prayer walk and capture shots like these mushrooms growing out of a boardwalk.
Jay took the boys camping when I was gone so we all reunited on Sunday afternoon. We were all beat, so this is the best picture I could get of Jay and the boys on Father’s Day.
Our first strawberry out of our strawberry patch with Shaggy here! I had to cancel the boys’ haircuts twice already.
Our for a family walk this evening and looking at the poor crops. We know there’s a lot of fields worse off than ours…but it’s not looking so good. Jay pulled up a canola plant to look at the root system.
