Pizza night! One day, many years down the road they can be the ones doing this whole process. I really want to teach my boys to be self-sufficient in the kitchen beyond grilled cheese sandwiches, eggs and Kraft Dinner 🙂
I’m “that mom” that has to take a picture of silly things like this that happen! Don’t worry, he was fine—not hurt at all!
We finally had Braden’s 5th birthday party today! 10 loud playschoolers…last big party I’ll ever host! They had fun, but next year will be a much more laid back party!
I’ve really wanted to have a better storage system for my most used baking ingredients. I had a huge Tupperware container for my flour, but it was housed in the bottom shelf of my pantry (because it wasn’t pretty!) and thus a pain to access. I finally fond the perfect looking and perfect sized containers and for only $10 each at Stokes!
Definitely another “almost forgot to take a photo” picture…my nightstand. Monitor, remote and phone.
I had a date night with my sister-in-love and I’ve also decided that actually putting effort into how I look on a daily basis—learning how to do my make-up—is a new goal for this year. Look good, feel good—right?
Jay and Craig took Braden and Luke skiing for the day, I worked a day shift and Laura had the littlests (thank you!) so the guys bought Peter’s for supper. If you’re ever in Calgary, it is a MUST EAT! Ethan loved the marshmallow milkshake! My dad would be proud!
