Let’s call this week “attack of the grainy photos”! Sad thing is, I love all these photos, and I guess you could say the grain (lack of clarity) adds a certain charm, but it’s just me with a combination of poor lighting, poor manual settings and not bringing my Speedlite traveling (because, really that’s not going to happen). I’m also late getting my post up today because: potty training. (More on that later).
So here is one of the few moments have had since the start of this project where I was laying in bed and shot up and thought “I didn’t take my picture!”. So I used my iPhone’s flashlight, cranked up my ISO and took a few pics of the boys sleeping.
I can’t even remember why, but I was having a really bad day this day so I turned on the music and we had a bit of a dance party before supper!
Cousins reunited and it feels so good!
We finally got a visit in with my very best friend growing up, Natalie (who is also Braden’s godmother), and two of her nephews were over so it was a table full of kids all age 4 and under!
We had a wonderful trip to see my family. I was exhausted, so were the kids…so Optimus Ethan was the only picture I took this day!
We had to go to the Calgary Zoo on Monday to finish our series of trips for Momblr and the kids had a BLAST! Post coming soon!
Ethan turned 23 months old today! He learned to (and loved to!) say “cheese” to the camera today, so I took full advantage!
I am always busy, I know I know, but we have been GO GO GO! since the weekend. It was a great weekend but it was 6 hours of driving, not the best sleeping, lots and lots of visiting followed by 2 hours of driving to the zoo on Monday, school on Tuesday and Thursday AM and throwing potty training in the mix too. It’s good to be busy!
