This app has been a sanity saver and has helped battle mommy brain…well, a big part of it anyway! It does cost $4.99 but it is well worth every penny. It helped me track feedings, diaper changes, and sleeping. I survived mommyhood with a newborn Braden without this app, and even my iPhone (gasp!) but this truly has really helped me keep on top of his wake-times and make sure he gets his naps on time. It even tracks vaccinations, weight, length – you name it!
Best.breastfeeding.shirt.ever! I love this nursing shirt more than others because you can wear any type of bra with it, you don’t have to wear a classic nursing bra with a clasp on the strap that pulls down. This makes breastfeeding in public super easy and I don’t have to bare my tummy.
Loved this for Braden and still love it with Ethan. Endless entertainment for my babies and it was a gift to boot!
My biggest piece of advice to new parents is get all your jammies zippered! No one wants to struggle with snaps in the middle of the night when you’re exhausted and/or frustrated. There’s even magnetic sleepers out now too, which I haven’t tried. Can’t beat the cuteness of Carter’s.
I totally believe that this is a luxury item that is absolutely not necessary, contrary to the title of this post! ….but…I happened to win this item on a blog giveaway and I’m pretty sure I would never have bought this for myself if I didn’t have it sitting in front of me. BUT, it has proven to be invaluable, especially for sleep training Ethan. This time I could see if he was really awake, or if he was just making noise in his sleep. I love this and wouldn’t trade it now!
These have become my favorite diapers for Ethan. They are similar in make and quality to my former favorite FuzziBunz and they are a fraction of the cost. They are one size, which I used to be scared of, but they are very easily adjustable with snaps, and fit him very very well. Kawaii is actually having a Facebook appreciation sale on their website now until the end of March, and you can save 20% on all items (no minimum purchase) and save 25% if you are a new customer. Some of their diapers are only $7 and come with 2 microfibre inserts. AWESOME diapers and they’re a Canadian company!
Essential part of my daily momiform. I recently bought these studio pants, a step up from the traditional yoga pants, perhaps? And I love them! Also? Free shipping in Canada and they got here in a few days – score!
This is a must for a cloth diapered baby. Also a Canadian made product and cloth diaper friendly…you can’t go wrong with this diaper salve and it works great on sensitive skin made with all natural products
I have a post dedicated to Hazelaid coming up and I don’t want to spoil it, but I bought a hazelwood necklace for Ethan and it’s amazing!
What did babies sleep in before there were sleep sacks? I love me some a+a sleep sacks! I have 3 for Ethan, you can often get them on a good discount through steal sites and they do go on sale at Well.ca too! They keep my baby nice and warm, but the muslin is also breatheable when it’s a bit warmer.
What are your favorite items for mommy and baby?
