It’s been well over a year since I discovered The Pioneer Woman’s free actions for PhotoShop Elements. I absolutely love them and they would be worth every penny a) if the penny still existed in Canada and b) if I had to pay for it in the first place! These actions are just amazing and they are my go-to for all my photo editing. I decided that it was time to invest in some more actions. I asked around and have heard good things about the Florabella collection. I know that Mandy uses them on her blog so I tweeted her and she recommended the Luxe II package, so that’s what I purchased!
They are a lot different than The Pioneer Woman actions, definitely a different style. At first I thought I wasted my money, but I started to get to know the actions and I just love them. They are a bit more artsy and whispy, if that makes sense. Anywho, I thought I’d show you what I’ve been up to with these actions.
I usually do an auto adjust on my pictures…
And then I got to playing with the actions!
Fun, eh?! And here are some more pictures that I played around with…
I always want to remember his awesome hair at this age!
Love them!! Do you use actions in PhotoShop/Elements? What are your favorites?

Where do you blog?
Here, but I’m going to be doing some guest-posting on WhatToExpect.com and Seraphine’s new lifestyle blog, so I’m very excited about that!
What do you blog about?
My family, my faith, photography, cloth diapering, and breastfeeding. I just started a new weekly series called The Breastfast Club and a new monthly link up for the photography enthused called Catch the Moment.
Is this your first time going to Blogher?
Yes! My first blog conference ever, so why not make it the biggest one?
What’s your favorite post you’ve written in the last year?
A few spring to mind, but Ethan’s birth story takes the cake.
What are you most looking forward to at Blogher13?
Meeting so many bloggers that I’ve been networking with and building friendships with over the last many years…and learning more about the business of blogging. I want to start making more money off my blog and I want to learn how to effectively do that with being true to me.
Where else {Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Etc.} can we find you?
Check out my social media icons on my sidebar…they’re all there! My handle everywhere is @hellonurse182.

I'm really really loving them! I had some money in my "blog" account, so I figured I would splurge! Thanks for the recommendation!
Thanks for linking up with the hop. I loved your birth story. Hopefully we can meet at Blogher I would love to pick your brain about photography.
My recent post Blogher13 Blog Hop #1!
Thanks for making the hop! Oh my….you can certainly pick my brain, but I don't know if there's much there amongst the mush of mommy brain! 🙂
Beautiful! Looks like his hair might be really auburn/red! How cool!
It still is darker than Braden's was….but it's lightening up a bit. My boys both at this age look reddish in pictures, but not IRL.
Cute pictures of Ethan! But on an unrelated note… Pennies don't exist in Canada anymore?!
Thanks! Haha…and nope! No more pennies in Canada as of last month! http://news.nationalpost.com/2013/02/04/canadian-…
I have Photoshop Elements and have tried some of the Pioneer Woman ones. I love the Florabella ones. I have them on my list. Beautiful pics of your cute little man
My recent post Catch the Moment
Thank you so much, Colleen!
Your little is ADORABLE! And I love the different effects on the pictures. I've really been thinking about getting photoshop lately, but it's so expensive. Do you feel like it's been worth the cash for how you use it? Also, my birth story is my favorite too! 🙂 I think I've read yours before but I'll have to go back and check it out again!
Thanks! I would go for Photoshop Elements – that's what I have. It's a lot cheaper and for a non-professional…it does pretty much all the same things on a lesser scale than PS from what I've read! I use it all the time – so yes it's so worth it!
